Piston Fit Drawer Project Finished

Jim attended my piston fit drawer course at the UTC College in London recently. He wisely didn't rush at the end, choosing to take his time and finish it off at home to achieve a perfect piston fit.

The carcass is made from a stunning piece of Lacewood (quarter sawn London plane) with a walnut drawer front and African blackwood pull. The workmanship is excellent.

  1. I remember Jim from the Bridgwater course, very good skills, understandably so considering his career.

Lovely timber, still want to make one of these, maybe over Christmas
