HANDWORKS Show 2017
Handworks is officially on for next year, 19th-20th May, featuring some most of the best hand tool makers in the world http://www.handworks.co/
I had a great time in 2015 and will be back again demonstrating my dovetail guides. There are more than 50 stands, admission is free and there are 36 free door prizes to be won. It's taking place in four of the buildings in the Historic German town of Amana, which deserves a days visit on its own.
The place was packed for two days solid and I've never seen so many people queuing to get in at the start, should be even better next year.
Talented woodworker and funny man Roy Underhill will be back again for an hours free entertainment on the Saturday morning.
and of course Benchcrafted, the hard working organisers of the non profit event, will have a fine display of their vices for you to try and buy.
If your into your hand planes this one show not to miss, they are loads of makers coming, including Oliver Sparks from the UK which is great to see.

How does it compare to the European Woodworking Show David?
ReplyDeleteIt has a similar feel and size, but there are no machinery or power tool stands and of course it has mainly US exhibitors.
