Mini Smoothers


I've just completed another batch of mini smoothers in Kingwood and tulipwood. For those of you waiting your planes are on their way.


There was some wonderful grain and it's a pleasure to work in these rare and beautiful timbers.

  1. Those woods are about the same price as gold here in Omaha. That looks like a small fortune on the table. They look great and they make for a terrific picture.

  2. David david, great looking planes. What mouth opening do they typically have. I.e will they tame those gnarly pesky woods?

    1. Hi Bob, I go for a really tight mouth, although I've never measured it! Yes it will cope with most figured grain. All the best, David.
